Hughes, Kate, APRN

Kate Hughes, ARNP-BC is an Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner and a Board Certified Family Nurse Practitioner. She is an active member of the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners, the Florida Nurse Practitioner Network, the Association of Reproductive Health Professionals, the Nurse Practitioners in Women’s Health and the Sigma Theta Tau nursing honor society.

Kate is a graduate of the University of Central Florida and completed her internship in gynecology and obstetrical care with the physicians of Winter Park OB-GYN. She is trained in colposcopy by the American Society for Colposcopy and Cervical Pathology (ASCCP). Prior to becoming a nurse practitioner she worked for several years as an emergency room nurse in a level one trauma center.

Kate specializes in in care of patients with Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome, recurrent infections, pain during intimacy, natural menopause solutions, and basic infertility. Kate is passionate about preventive care to prevent disease and illness.

Kate is married and has three small boys and enjoys the outdoors, traveling, camping, hiking, and photography.
