Women’s Care Florida is pleased to welcome a new physician to our team! Daniel Kiefer, MD, joins our Orlando office, to provide integrated care for women with high-risk pregnancies.

Dr. Kiefer is trained in maternal-fetal medicine. His clinical interests include perinatal ultrasound, prenatal genetic screening and diagnostic testing, preterm labor, maternal medical complications, and multiple gestations.

“What I love about maternal-fetal medicine is my ability to help women who are encountering difficult pregnancies,” said Dr. Kiefer, “and working with their providers to achieve the best possible outcomes for the mother and their baby.”

His goal is to provide a patient-centered experience, while helping women and their families through complicated pregnancies. “I hope to bring seamless integration of high risk pregnancy care to Women’s Care Florida,” he said, “so patients can receive all of their care, whether routine or complicated, from one place.”

Dr. Kiefer attended medical school at Penn State College of Medicine. He did his residency at Lehigh Valley Hospital in Allentown, PA, followed by a fellowship in the Department of Obstetrics, Gynecology, and Reproductive Medicine Division of Maternal-Fetal Medicine at Stony Brook University Hospital in New York.  He’s a member of the American Institute for Ultrasound in Medicine and is a Board-certified Fellow on the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology, with a subspecialty certification in Maternal-Fetal Medicine.

An avid traveler, restaurant enthusiast, and Disney fan, he’s looking forward to many new adventures in Florida. Dr. Kiefer practices at Women’s Care Florida’s Orlando office: 3438 Lawton Road, Orlando, FL  32803. Schedule an appointment online or call the Orlando practice at 407-751-2867.
