Gaye has been a Certified Nurse Midwife since 1995. She attended the State University of New York, Stony Brook, for her undergraduate nursing degree. She went on to complete her Masters Degree at Case Western Reserve in Cleveland, Ohio while simultaneously achieving her certification in midwifery from the Frontier School of Midwifery and Family Nursing in Hyden, Kentucky. She is a member of the American College of Nurse Midwives and the Association of Health, Obstetrics and Neonatal Nurses. She is also a Childbirth Education Specialist and specializes in lactation education and pregnancy counseling.
Gaye enjoys working with all types of women’s health care and provides expert counsel about every aspect of women’s health care. In addition to obstetrical services and lactation classes she offers routine gynecological services and contraceptive management. She takes pride in developing relationships with her patients and takes the time to make sure that their questions are answered and they are confident in the care they receive.
