Lisa Malecki, CNM, ARNP

Lisa Malecki is licensed as an Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner (ARNP) and a Certified Nurse Midwife (CNM) in Florida. She served as the treasurer of the American College of Nurse Midwives for two terms.

 

Lisa attended the University of Florida and earned her nurse midwifery certificate and advanced registered nurse practitioner license in 1992. She earned her master of science degree from the University of Florida in 1994 and her bachelor of science in nursing in 1987 also from the University of Florida.

 

Lisa has practiced as an ARNP and a CNM in St Petersburg since 1992 in both private practice and in community health services providing obstetric and gynecological care to low risk women from the teen years through menopause. She has also worked for many years in obstetrical triage at Bayfront Medical Center before joining Dr. Biss and Dr. Townsend at New Beginnings OB/GYN.

 

Lisa was born in Jamaica and moved with her family to Tampa at the age of 14.  She has been married to her husband Ron for almost 21 years and has 2 children, Adam and Raina who are in middle school. Her hobbies are hiking, photography, gardening and reading.
