Dr. Amy Taneja completed her undergraduate training at Ohio Wesleyan University and attended medical school at Wright State University in Dayton, Ohio where she was elected to Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Society. She completed her residency education at Oakwood Hospital and Medical Center in Dearborn, Michigan and served as chief resident there. She joined a private practice in nearby St. Clair Shores in 2005 and relocated to join Women’s Care Florida in 2010. Dr. Taneja specializes in da Vinci minimally invasive hysterectomies, Novasure and Thermachoice endometrial ablations, and no incision Essure vaginal tubal ligations.
Dr. Taneja is board certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology and is a Fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists. She is also a member of the American Assocation of Gynecologic Laparoscopists and the Pinellas County Medical Association.
Dr. Taneja resides in St. Petersburg with her husband and daughter.
