Dr. Molly Long is board certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecologists, and is a Fellow of the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecologists.  She is also a member of the Florida Obstetric and Gynecologic Society, the Pinellas County Medical Association, and the St. Petersburg Chamber of Commerce.

 

Dr. Long is trained in minimally invasive surgery and outpatient surgery for incontinence.  She specializes in robot-assisted laparoscopic hysterectomies, endometrial ablations and vaginal tubal ligations.  Dr. Long was in private practice in Denver, Colorado for six years and has been in practice in St. Petersburg since June of 2005.

 

An Illinois native, Dr. Long attended the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign where she earned her baccalaureate degree in biochemistry.  She went on to attend medical school at the University of Illinois at Chicago where she graduated in the top 3% of her class and was elected to the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Society.  Dr. Long completed her internship and residency at the University of South Florida which provided extensive training in surgery, gynecology and high-risk obstetrics. 

 

Dr. Long and her husband reside in St. Petersburg with their daughter Jaiden.  Her interests include running, reading, and skiing.  She is an active supporter of the Humane Society and Planned Parenthood.
