Henry Hyatt, M.D.



Dr. Henry Hyatt has been providing women’s health care in the Tampa Bay area since 1973.  Dr. Hyatt holds a Florida medical license and is board certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology.  He is a member of the American Medical Association, American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, American Fertility Society, American Laparoscopy Society, Florida Obstetrics and Gynecology Society, Hillsborough County Medical Association, and AAGL, the Association for Advanced Gynecologic Laparoscopy, the world’s largest professional association of gynecologists who specialize in the use of minimally invasive procedures for diagnosing and treating disorders of the female reproductive system and pelvic floor.

 

Born in Newark, New Jersey, Dr. Hyatt attended Emory University where he earned his baccalaureate degree in 1963.  He earned his doctor of medicine at the University of Louvain in 1969.  He completed his internship at Newark Beth Israel Medical Center, where he also completed one year of his residency. Dr. Hyatt completed his residency in obstetrics and gynecology at Grady Memorial Hospital in 1973.  He was appointed Clinical Instructor of OB/GYN at the Emory University Medical School from 1972-1973.  Since 1978, Dr. Hyatt has served as a Clinical Assistant Professor of OB/GYN at the University of South Florida Medical School.  He has served as the OB/GYN Division Director at University Community Hospital since 1991.  Dr. Hyatt also served in the United Stated Military Reserve from 1970-1976 with a rank of Captain.

 

Our practice specializes in only gynecology.  Our office is conveniently located in North Tampa. Our office staff and facilities are customized with a personal touch, treating each patient with special care and consideration.  We are committed to providing all patients with a comfortable environment and a satisfied encounter with our physician and staff.
