Humana Beginnings

in partnership with
HumanaBeginnings is designed to provide guidance to expectant mothers to help them learn how to take care of themselves during their pregnancy.

The program includes:
  • Health education and support regarding the changes you can expect during each phase of pregnancy.
  • What to expect from labor and child birth.
  • Pregnancy guidebook and three educational newsletters
     
  • Initial health assessment with access to a registered nurse specially trained in the care for pregnant women who will work with you to provide education and support, facilitate services, and referrals to community resources, if needed.
HumanaBeginnings is available to most expectant mothers who are Humana members and provided to members at no additional charge. Talk with your Women’s Care Florida provider if you are interested in enrolling.
