| Return of Menstrual Periods | |
|
If you are not breastfeeding, your period may return about 6–8 weeks after giving birth. If you are breastfeeding, your periods may not start again for months. It is possible that you may release an egg (ovulate) before you have your first period which means you can get pregnant. Use birth control to help make sure you don’t get pregnant again until you are ready. Talk with your doctor about which method is best for you. |
