Cherise Chambers, M.D.

Dr. Cherise Chambers is board certified in obstetrics and gynecology.  She is a member of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology, the Florida Obstetrics and Gynecology Society, the American Medical Association and the Society for Maternal Fetal Medicine.

Dr. Chambers was born in Maryland, but soon moved with her family to the Caribbean.  She grew up on the island of Jamaica where she developed an interest in women’s health while volunteering at the local hospitals. She later relocated to Florida where she obtained her Bachelor of Science Degree in Pre Medical Sciences at Nova Southeastern University and then went on to become a Doctor of Medicine at Wright State University in 2007, where she was active in several medical societies. She completed her residency training at the Winnie Palmer Hospital for Women and Babies in 2011. During that time, she served as Administrative Chief Resident, participated in research studies and obtained several honors and awards.

Dr. Chambers enjoys providing complete care to the female patient. Her interests include high-risk obstetrics, treating abnormal uterine bleeding and gynecologic pain conditions, as well as urogynecologic and infertility workups. She believes in the minimally invasive approach to surgery, and is certified in Robotic Surgery.

She and her husband enjoy living in Orlando close to family and friends.  Her personal interests include travel, dance, singing and fine dining.
