Dr. William Newton earned his medical degree from the University of South Carolina School of Medicine in 1981. He completed his residency at the University of South Florida Affiliated Hospitals in 1985. In 2003, Dr. Newton received advanced training in Gynecare TVT tension-free support for incontinence and in NovaSure RF Endometrial Ablation. Dr. Newton has been board certified in obstetrics and gynecology since 1987. He is a member of the Tampa OB/GYN Society, AmericanCollege of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, Florida Medical Association, Hillsborough County Medical Society, and Florida Obstetrics and Gynecology Society. Currently, Dr. Newton is the Secretary of Obstetrics and Gynecology at UniversityCommunityHospital.
Dr. Newton is married with two children. He enjoys fishing, hunting, boating, golfing, and all outside activities.
