Lisa Moss CNM ARNP
27 years ago I decided that I wanted to help women.  I began my journey to become a nurse midwife after the birth of my oldest daughter by a Certified Nurse Midwife.  It was that experience and my opportunity to work with one during teen clinic hours as the group educator that inspired me to become one.  I realized that I had a calling to continue being an educator, an advocate or a helper to women during childbirth as a Certified Nurse Midwife and it feels so right to me.

I have lived most of my life in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, graduating from Philadelphia High School for Girls, attending Germantown Hospital School of Nursing, and obtaining my Bachelor of Science in Nursing from LaSalle University.  I completed my journey to become a Certified Nurse Midwife at Philadelphia University’s Midwifery Institute in 2006 and a Master’s degree in Midwifery in 2008.  I got my first job in a hospital practice for over five years before relocating to Ocala, Florida in 2012.  I relocated to the Tampa Bay area to live out my remaining years of being a guide, an inspiration, an educator, and an assistant to women as they give birth to their next generation.  My husband, Anthony and I look forward to waking up each day to the new challenges that await us.  We have five children between us and three granddaughters that will continue to inspire me to do what I see as the “love of my life”, being a nurse midwife.
